Google to Unify GA4 and Google Ads Conversion Window
Google Ads will use Google Analytics 4’s conversion window settings starting March 31st to ensure consistent reporting. As of March 31, 2023, Google Ads will solely use GA4’s conversion window settings, meaning advertisers can no longer configure conversion windows independently. Currently, conversion window settings can be configured independently in both Google Ads and GA4, leading to discrepancies in performance reporting between the two platforms. Google is notifying advertisers about this change via email.
Why is this important?
Previously, Google Ads allowed advertisers to select conversion window lengths ranging from 1 to 90 days. Accurate reporting is crucial for data-driven decisions and while this update will help reduce confusion, some advertisers may require more flexibility. Read more.

The entire campaign, called ‘Make It A St. Patrick’s Day To Remember’ also includes the announcement of free pints of Guinness available in over 300 different locations across Ireland via the AnyExcuse app. A pint of Guinness 0.0 will be redeemable March 16th-19th.
