Heinz Beanz taps into nation's affection of baked beans
In the first piece of creative work from Wieden & Kennedy London for Heinz Beanz, “Too good to leave behind” reminds Brits of their love for baked beans. Following his luggage failing to turn up at the airport, a man weeps inconsolably throughout his holiday whilst trying to sing Karaoke, dance in a club or sitting on a sunlit beach. At the end of the ad we see that the reason behind his melancholy was that his suitcase had been filled tins of Heinz Beanz and he is devastated by the concept of having his holiday without them.
Why is this important?
What is clever about this creative is that it is inspired by news articles involving multitudes of Brits having tins of baked beans confiscated at airport security. As part of Heinz’s “Irrational Love” platform, this ad aims to convey the feeling of being without your home comforts whilst on holiday and is supported by Outdoor ads around Heathrow terminals to further ingrain the concept as people travel. Google Analytics 4 is now rolling out features that offer 360 customers customisation capabilities. The new features include customised reporting for all types of teams, BigQuery reports & customisation, links & integrations. These new updates will be rolled out in the coming weeks followed by more functionalities later in the year. The features become available after Google begins to remove capabilities from Universal Analytics 360 over the next few months. From 2024 onwards, businesses will no longer be available for 360 or standard customers from 30th June 2024.
Why is this important?
Advertisers that are still using 360 properties in Universal Analytics will need to transfer to GA4 to unlock these advanced reporting capabilities. These new capabilities will save time and help to ensure consistent reporting, enabling advertisers the power to make data-led decisions to achieve their goals.

Movember worshippers hail coming of giant 'tache
Men’s health charity Movember celebrates 20 years of charitable facial hair cultivation with “The Mo is calling” an ad created by DDB Melbourne designed to show unity to help men’s health. The ad airs on UK TV and features people pilgrimaging across a desert chanting “Mo” as they welcome the arrival of a colossal moustache descending from the sky like a UFO. The campaign ends with a voiceover "The Mo is calling. Raise funds, save lives. Sign up with Movember.com." Giles Watson, DDB Melbourne's group creative partner, said: "We have turned the Movember Mo into the bat symbol for uniting men. The Illuminati has the all seeing eye, Movember has the Mo. It's a symbol of unity, and whenever it's seen, men across the world will know they are never alone. Help and hope are always close by if you follow the Mo!".
